Wow, you've been so creatively busy, in so many diverse ways! I'm in awe of your productivity. And you're a great guitarist. Love 'The Good Earth' passage.

One thing you may not know about me - I have rich parents so never have to want for anything materially, so am able to explore my interests more than 99.999999% of people.

It just so happens that unlike other privileged flibbertigibbets, my interests are music and literature, as opposed to drugs and hookers.

You're SO LUCKY Kev! Very jealous. Enjoy exploring.

I fill my weekdays with a job as a note-taker for uni students. And I do freelance tutoring. Business fluctuates wildly.

Being unemployed makes me miserable. Not because of the dignity of labour or any of that crap. But it's impossible to feel part of society without contributing to it in a positive way.

I like the work but don't love it. As far as I'm concerned, work isn't about passion any more than married life is about jumping into bed every few hours.

So you don't have to work to make money but do so by choice?

I suppose so, but family wealth takes decades to build and seconds to lose, so I try to be as employable as possible.

Some employers would find my songwriting history a huge turnoff, so hopefully I offset it with the more respectable stuff.

Ah right, that sounds very sensible. But no employers have ever cared about my mucky comedy songs to my knowledge, so I'm sure yours won't be a turnoff!
